Records: We start by taking a series of digital photos and facial measurements to help us create a smile that's in proportion to your bone structure, the shape of your face, and your lip contours. Oral evaluation is the first step. This includes an exam of the Teeth and soft tissue, Digital x-rays, Impressions, and Photos. If you have not had a teeth cleaning in a while we may suggest you have your teeth cleaned before starting treatment.

Smile Evaluation: After all the needed records are obtained we will discuss with you what you want for your smile. The best person to determine what you will like is not the dentist, but you. We are there just to guide you in your decision making. After we have determined your ideal smile we send you Impressions to a lab. They will do what is called a “Wax up” of what your teeth might look like if your were to have them done as discussed.

When these return from the lab we have you take a look at them and suggest any changes. If you like what you see we start the work.

The Treatment: At this point we prepare the surfaces of your teeth to accommodate the new Veneers (an/or crowns if your case requires more). We then will place temporaries that match the shape of the “Wax Up”. You will leave the office with the temporaries on. We then give you a week with the temporaries to determine if you like them. This is a good time to have all your family and friends see the temporaries to tell you what they think.

Your cosmetic options include bonding, porcelain veneers and whitening. You may choose cristobal inlays, empress onlays or white fillings if you prefer esthetic alternatives to silver/mercury fillings. Periodontal Treatment You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning).
